The Search for the Next Elvira is a reality television series created by Eric Gardner and Cassandra Peterson for the Fox Reality channel. The reality competition show is a search to be the next late-night horror cult movie host Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

Finally at elimination, the "Unlucky 13" are narrowed down to the "Sexy Six."60m3E3Dining With the DevilThe "Sexy Six" must perform three terrifying tasks. First, the hopefuls must sell Elvira-branded coffee to tourists. Second, they go on a dinner date with a reality TV star. Finally, the six have to introduce a B-movie, a la Elvira's Movie Macbre. In the end, the "Sexy Six" are cut down to the "Top Three."60m4E4The Chosen OneOn Halloween, the Top Three learn who America voted as the new apprentice of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
