Synopsis
A team of specialized Autobots not quite ready for prime-time battles against the Decepticons is given a vital mission by Optimus Prime. The goal for the Bots is to learn about mankind and how to help others to find out what it really means to be a hero.

Family of HeroesThe four members of Rescue Force Sigma-17 emerge and are greeted by the Autobot leader Optimus Prime, who assigns them to work with the Burns family on an island. While the four are supposed to respond to every command the humans give them, they get fed up with it and are tempted to leave Earth. Until, an animatronic dinosaur attacks the island.20m2
Under PressureWhile Chase and Chief Burns pursue an out-of-control robo-landscaper through Griffin Rock, Cody Burns reports that the rest of the team might be delayed, as his siblings are having trouble coming to terms with the fact that their rescue vehicles are alien robots. A volcano suddenly threatens the island of Griffin Rock, sending the Rescue Bots and Burns family into action. The group has to put aside their differences and work together in order to save the island.20m3

Little White LiesThe kids are covertly planning a surprise birthday party for their father. Chief Burns tells them he is heading to the docks, but actually takes a trip to the bakery for a cake, as a present for his family, thinking that they forgot his birthday. Chase discovers this to be a lie and is confounded by this. While setting up the party back home, the kids and the other Rescue Bots realize that Chase and Chief Burns are missing, and search the entire town. Eventually they discover the two trapped inside an underground mine, and save them from the flooding water and falling rocks.20m23
Shake UpThe Rescue Bots lead the rescue efforts when a series of earthquakes strike the island.20m24
Rescue BoyDoc Greene invents a repulsor badge that allows the wearer to be occluded from projectiles. Cody uses it to participate more on the front lines, in missions with the rest of his family, against Chief Burns concern of his safety. His superhero status, however, is halted when his repulsor badge is overloaded and projects a nonstop field, enclosing him inside. Boulder uses neutralizing gloves, also invented by Doc Greene, to bypass the repulsive field and successfully remove the badge from Cody, shortly before it detonates.20m25
It's a Bot TimeWhen Doc Greene's experiment with a time machine goes awry, the Bots end up being captured by an old nemesis.20m26
Bot to the FutureWhen the Bots return home, they find that Doctor Morocco is in command of Griffin Rock.20m
